Wow has it been a long time since I have sat down and done this... We have been so busy around the house and at night after the kiddos go to bed all i want to do is go to bed!! I am sitting her tonight feeling that I need to write some things out get them off my chest and move on and I figured this was the best way for me to do that. I just got back yesterday afternoon from our national psi iota xi convention. I had a wonderful time!! It was the 106th National Convention and I made some great new friends "sisters" from other chapters and I am so so glad I went. I knew it was going to be hard being away from my little man but we both did all right and then Kaden of course he is 8 now so missing his mom yeah right! lol... I did have to miss 2 of Kaden's baseball games he was in a tourney and we didn't know about it until after i had signed up for national. oh well everything ended up working out just fine! But back to convention I have really been struggling with our local chapter and going to convention is just what I needed. Psi Iota Xi is a great organization and I am so blessed to be a part of it. Our organization does amazing great wonderful things and being around over 400 great women who are all there for the same reason just made realize how important our chapters are in all of our communities and it restored my faith in what we do and who we are and what are place is in the community! We are all a part in this awesome organization local chapters state level and then national level combine us all together and you get 1 very powerful rewarding organization that I belong to!! "Sisters" don't always get along they don't always see eye to eye but there is one thing you can always count on that they will be there for you in good times and in bad times!
