Spring Break 2009

Well as much as I love going to florida I sure do dread the trip home!! We went to Panama City Beach this year from Spring Break me and my 3 boys along with my parents,sister,cousins. It was a crazy trip!! Wesley did very well in the car and we drove all the way there no stopping for a hotel. So after getting in the car and about 6 or 7 stops and 16 hours later we finally arrived at our destination for the week! The week started off awesome the sun was out it was warm and we were at the beach!! The end of the week wasn't so great it was stormy,yucky,rainy but still better than Indiana! We ate at a ton of great places Boon Docks,Pineapple Willeys,5 Guys,Fudpuckers and Schooners!! One of my favorite things to eat while on vacation in PCB is the Grouper it is so gooood and it is fresh right out of the Gulf!! Yummy Yummy!! We did some shopping and relaxed just had a good time and like always the week ended sooner than it started!! We had to wait on Saturday to leave because of all the bad weather and we finally left around 11 and ended up getting home at about 2am and we were on the tail end of a ton of nasty weather!! I was glad to be home but sad I wasn't at the beach anymore!! All in All it was a great trip and I am very glad that Danielle and Miren got to experience Florida for the First time!! So I actually wrote this a couple of weeks ago and then thought that I had lost it while trying to add pics. After running into Tricia at Penny's the other day she told me where to go and find the post!! So Thanks to Tricia my post isn't lost and I am now publishing it!! YAY : )

Friday the 13th!!!!

Well I have never been one to be superstitious about Friday the 13th but after yesterdays experience I am starting to rethink that. It all started at about 4am Friday morning with this dull beeping noise...I first tried to ignore it because I hadn't got a very good nights sleep and I was thinking what now... Well Zach finally got up and went and checked the carbon monoxide detector. It was beeping so we changed the batteries and put it back on the wall and went back to bed. Since the beeping stopped when we changed the batteries we thought nothing of it. I mean it was 4am and we were still very tired!! So at about 6:45 the beeping started again... at this point i realized that something was wrong and it wasn't the batteries. So Zach got up again and removed it from the wall I then ask him if there was something on the detector that told what the beeping was... He said yes we need to get out of the house.. I instantly got out of bed and started to panic.. What do we need to do?? Everyone is ok we are all breathing I don't really think calling 911 and having all the fire trucks down here is what we need.. So we quickly got the boys up and dressed and took them next door to my parents house and then we got ready for work and got out of the house. Zach called the furnace guy he said to open a window and he would be over in a little bit.. Well he came over and yes we had carbon monoxide leaking into the house and well our very old furnace is junk!! So now we have no furnace and are patiently waiting for a quote on how much a new furnace is going to cost!! Oh what a wonderful way to start the day!! I am guess that a new furnace is going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $3000 to $4000 and that isn't something we had in the plans of replacing at this time!! So the rest of the day just seemed to get away from me it really didn't even feel like a Friday.. Little things just kept happening that didn't sit very well with me.. I am very glad that today is Saturday and I did get a pretty good nights sleep. I am just very thankful that we had a carbon monoxide detector and that it worked when it was suppose to......

New At This.....

All right well this is my first actual "blog" I am not real sure what I am doing so I guess I will just wing it!! From the looks of things this whole blogging this appears to be a big online diary of your life so I am up for that! So its almost bed time and I decided I would sit down for a few minutes and try this out. What a night we had. I am finally starting to get busy with tanners so I was at the shop until about 7. Came home and Zach almost had dinner done lasagna garlic bread green beans cottage cheese what more could you ask for. Had dinner with my wonderful family and of course that resulted in Wesley throwing his food across the room like always. At first it was cute he was feeding the dog now he just wings his food across the room and who knows where it will land!! It seems to be getting harder and harder with my little Wesley. He is having such a hard time with the whole talking thing and tends to get very frustrated when he can't express himself. He tends to just scream and cry when he wants something and we can't figure it out which is really hard for us and I just feel like it is a loosing battle. I just keep telling myself it is going to get better. He is the most loving child and I love his hugs and kisses but man o man when he gets mad look out!! We did get the Wii out tonight and that was fun I thought that I had beat Kaden at the hula hoop thing on Wii fit but then he ended up kicking my butt!! Go figure... All right I think that is enough for tonight I guess I will find my way to bed now!!
